About our rooms
Individual and bespoke, every room has been carefully designed to celebrate the architecture and heritage of our building, and to meet the needs of the modern traveller. They echo the glamour of the railway age, bringing it thoroughly up to date to create spaces that are blissful and luxurious. You can choose from 4 types, each bringing its own personality – Couchette, Edwardian, Heritage and Victorian.
Couchette
The perfect sleeper
Ideal for a short-stay, our Couchette rooms are delightful. Paying homage to the classic Continental railway sleeper, small has never been more luxurious – and there is no compromise here. A Hypnos double bed fits snugly next to a bespoke leather banquette. A beautiful bathroom includes a walk-in shower whilst high ceilings create a sense of space.
Edwardian
Room at the top
Head up to the top floor and you’ll find our charming Edwardian rooms tucked into the eaves. With rich walnut paneling and shades of plum, these are a nod to the most luxurious railway carriages of old. With bespoke furniture, ingenious storage and a comfortable Hypnos bed, these discrete rooms offer a calm sanctuary. Bright, vintage-style bathrooms complete the experience.

The art of design
Bespoke walnut and leather furniture, a European king-size Hypnos bed (160cmx200cm) and vintage style bathrooms complement the building’s high ceilings and tall sash windows. From these rooms you can take in views across the area and of Lewis Cubitt’s most famous achievement – King’s Cross station.
Victorian
Spaciously bright
These light-filled rooms are a celebration of style and beautiful design, with bespoke crafted interiors, a European king-size Hypnos bed (160cmx200cm) and a large bathroom complimented by a stylish standalone bath or inviting double dual shower.
